Good range of content with decent biographical details.
I bought this app to use as enrichment material in my elementary music classroom. We do a number of music listening activities and my plan was to show this app to the students at the end of some lessons so we could explore other composers and their works. My students love it. They sometimes choose composers for their photos and sometimes they have heard of them. They totally love it. As an enrichment tool, it has worked well for me.
This is a great app, but, would love to see more detail on the composers. Also, the app is a bit buggy - it doesnt always play well with other apps. When listening with app in background it sometimes crashes. The music is first class and the selections are nice. Overall, spend the money and enjoy!
There is an incredible amount of good music here, and it is all is of high quality, with excellent singers and orchestras. And if that wasnt enough, the information on the composers is helpful, if a bit sparse on the lesser-knowns. There are no glaring oversights in the variety of music; while there are a few things I wish they had, there is little missing that needs to be there. Overall, it is well worth the negligible price.
